in collaboration with the Directors of Health Services, Public Health,
Mental Health, Aging and Disabilities, and Economic Opportunity, and
the Chief Executive Officer’s Poverty Alleviation Initiative, and in
coordination with managed care plans, community health centers, and
providers, to do the following: …
Identify opportunities to connect beneficiaries of Medicaid and
SNAP to work opportunities and American Job Centers on
coordinated efforts to meet work requirements and preserve
enrollment status, including opportunities to leverage the
Department of Economic Opportunity’s virtual American Job
Center to most expeditiously meet work requirements and
minimize disruption to County services. …
Instruct the Director of Public Social Services, in collaboration with the
Directors of Health Services, Public Health, Mental Health, and Aging
and Disabilities, the Superintendent of Schools of the Los Angeles
County Office of Education, the County Librarian, the Center for
Strategic Partnerships, and in coordination with managed care plans,
community-based organizations, community health centers and
providers, and school districts, to develop plans and timelines for the

Instruct the Director of Public Social Services, in collaboration with the
Directors of Health Services, Public Health, Mental Health, Aging and
Disabilities, and Economic Opportunity, the Superintendent of Schools
of the Los Angeles County of Education, and the County Librarian, to
confer and take feedback from every Board office to determine a plan
for the most culturally and linguistically appropriate outreach methods
depending on local community needs and partners to carry out the
above directives, and to report back to the Board in writing in 90 days
