Recommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Instruct the  
Executive Director of the Homeless Initiative, Chief Executive  
Office, County Counsel, the Chief Executive Officer of the Los  
Angeles Homeless Services Authority, and request the Sheriff, to  
provide a verbal report back to the Board at the July 30, 2024 Policy  
and Presentation Board meeting, with a review of the City of Grants  
Pass v. Johnson, et al. decision, its potential implications in the

Recommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Waive the $4  
per vehicle parking fee for 60 vehicles, in the total amount of $240  
during the month of July 2024, excluding the cost of liability  
insurance, for attendees of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s  
Community Academy to be held at the Century Sheriff’s Station  
Kenneth Hahn Auditorium, on July 10, 2024, and every Wednesday

report back to the Board in writing as part of the Fiscal Year 2024-25  
Supplemental Budget phase, and identify additional staffing and  
resources required to bolster the County’s illegal dumping  
enforcement, consistent with the Fiscal Resilience Protocol.
