I. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS  
Ratification of Proclamation of Local Emergency for the Late December  
Winter Storm  
1.  
Recommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: Ratify the Proclamation of  
Local Emergency made on December 24, 2025, based on the Late December  
Winter Storm in the County, which proclamation shall remain in effect until its  
termination is proclaimed by the Board. Forward a copy of the Proclamation of  
Local Emergency to the Director of California Governor’s Office of Emergency  
Services, with the request that the Director find it acceptable in accordance  
with State law; that recovery assistance be made available under the California  
Disaster Assistance Act; and that the State expedite access to State and  
Federal resources and any other appropriate federal disaster relief programs.  
Instruct County Departments to implement all assessment, assistance, and  
monitoring efforts as applicable (25-6896)
